REMEDIES

These are some remedies I use for myself that typically work when I'm not feeling well.

Do not use these recipes for children under the age of  2 years old. 

Always remember to dilute essential oils before applying to skin.

Sore Throat

ACV SHOT

-1 Tbsp of Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (I like the Braggs brand)

-1 Tbsp filtered water

-A Pinch of Cinnamon

-A Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

-Squeeze 1/2 a Lemon

Immune Boost

Green Smoothie Boost

 

- 4 strawberries

-2 Oranges freshly squeezed or juiced

-A handful of Kale

-Stevia to sweeten (optional)

Eat more:

Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Raw Garlic, Peas, Tomatoes.

Avoid: Sugar and Dairy at all cost. Natural fruit sugars are good.

If you exercise daily, but feel like you may be getting sick, take the day off and rest. 

PMS/Cramps

Goddess Juice

 

*You will need a juicer or cheese cloth for this recipe.*

Juice or blend the following in your blender:

-1 Whole Celery

-2 Small Beets

-1 Apple

-1 Cucumber

-1 Pomegranate

-Thumb size piece of ginger

-2 Medium Carrots

-2 Lemons squeezed

After the ingredients are blended ring out in cheese cloth and drink the juice. If you are ok drinking it as a smoothie with the fiber in it thats great too!

Drinking chamomile tea also helps!

Stuffy Nose

1. Eliminate dairy and processed sugar  completely from diet. 

2. Dilute some eucalyptus essential oil with coconut oil and apply to bridge of nose and under nose. (DO NOT get in your eyes)

Common Cold

Green Smoothie Boost

- 4 strawberries

-2 Oranges freshly squeezed or juiced

-A handful of Kale

-Stevia to sweeten (optional)

-Spirulina (as much as you can handle) (or just take a spirulina tablet I use this brand)

Eat more:

Dark Leafy Greens, Pineapple, Cucumber, Parsley, Cilantro, Bell Peppers, Broccoli, Raw Garlic, Peas, Tomatoes.

Do:

Meditation, Light stretching, Conscious Breathing and lots of Rest. Have some elderberry syrup.

Avoid: Sugar, Meat and Dairy at all cost. Natural fruit sugars are good.

Nausea

Ginger/Chamomile Tea

-In a pot, boil 2 cups of water.

- Add a thumb sized piece of ginger chopped up. (leaving the skin on is fine)

-Add 1 tsp Chamomile

-Add a little stevia if you like it sweet.

-Strain using a tea strainer

-Enjoy warm
