Crispy Fat Free Glazed Tofu
Gluten Free, Oil Free, Nut Free

2 Packs of extra firm Tofu
Tamari or Soy Sauce
1 Small Garlic Clove
1 Small Ginger Piece (same size as garlic)
Optional: Sesame seeds
For best results, drain tofu the night before, cut into cubes and wrap in a kitchen towel and leave over night in refrigerator.
The next day when you are ready to cook place your dried tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in oven for 30 - 40 min at 400 degrees fahrenheit or until browned. (Bake at your preference, some people like tofu soft, while others like it more cooked)
Using my magic bullet or any other small blender, I blended my tamari, maple syrup, garlic, ginger and corn starch.
Set aside your sauce until the tofu is done baking.
When the tofu is ready and crispy, place the tofu on a sautéing pan at medium/high heat and add your sauce.
You should notice the sauce start to thicken into a glaze.
Remove from heat when you get the consistency you want and serve with your favorite veggies or rice.
Optional: Top with sesame seeds
